A dense forest cut from north to south by a river.
As part of eastern Hoenn, it received more rainfall, and its vegetation was far denser and more luxuriant than in the west.
Some trees here even grew over a hundred meters tall. The treehouses of Fortree City were built among them.
A light rain happened to begin as Baimu arrived. Many water-loving Pokémon darted through the woods, while plenty of fish Pokémon surfaced in the river.
Among them were Feebas and Luvdisc, Pokémon rarely seen in the west.
Shiny Milotic loved this environment. She swam happily against the current, showing off her beauty beneath the admiring gazes of the aquatic Pokémon around her.
Even beneath the rainy sky, her scales shone with a breathtaking glow.
On the riverbank.
"Do you think Groudon and Kyogre might be why eastern and western Hoenn have these subtle differences in climate?" Baimu asked Porygon2 on his phone. Dreepy Big Sister sat atop his head, and he wore a raincoat.
A reply immediately came through the speaker.
"Hmm. You mean Groudon and Kyogre live in western and eastern Hoenn respectively, and their Abilities have affected the environment?" "Pory, pory?"
The two voices sounded in unison, one from either side of him, accompanied by splashing water and two delighted cries.
"Ah, this is hard." "Pory."
"Take your time. I'm practicing with you, aren't I? And yes, that's exactly what I was thinking."
Baimu turned toward Shiny Milotic, who was swimming upstream nearby. Porygon2 and Dreepy Little Brother clung to different parts of her body, laughing as they went.
The three Pokémon seemed to be having a wonderful time.
One of them, however, looked a little distracted, as though part of its attention was elsewhere.
Porygon2 had managed to create the special Substitute through
