Milotic raised its head slightly. An ice-blue orb of light gathered in its mouth, then a jagged, branch-like bolt of freezing lightning shot out. Even the air cracked as it passed.
Ice Beam had a longer range than Blizzard. Blizzard excelled at broad but short-range coverage, while long-distance attacks were Ice Beam's specialty.

Milotic warily scanned its surroundings, quickly searching for Swellow's figure.

Milotic had no time to dodge. It swung its tail over its head, using the fan-like tip as a shield, and a violent collision rang out!

The overwhelming force slammed the fan-shaped tail into Milotic's head. Fortunately, there was a layer of "padding" between them.
It lowered its head and grunted. "Mi-lo..."
Quick Attack could reach such power largely because of Swellow's Guts Ability. Being asleep could clearly trigger the Ability as well.
