The commentary hit far too close to home.

A moment ago, he had been delighted when Drapion's Acupressure boosted its Speed. Then Porygon2 put up Trick Room.
Using Trick Room right from the start made it seem as though Baimu had known exactly what tactics he would use with Drapion and Jumpluff.
Granted, he did usually have Jumpluff open with Tailwind, but did Baimu have to be so decisive?

When he spotted the two translucent, square shields he had failed to notice in front of Porygon2 and Corsola, his face darkened further.
But he dared not hesitate. He immediately gave his next orders.
"Drapion, keep using Acupressure! Jumpluff, get in front of Drapion and use Cotton Guard!"
Protect them first, then gamble again!
Xing Bingwei knew that against an opponent like Baimu, his chances of winning would approach zero unless he took a gamble. Besides, the situation was already against him.
