To Baimu and Mega Steelix, looking up from below, the Z-Move's name suddenly seemed fitting.
"Z-Moves really are something else."
He couldn't help but marvel.
In the games, a Z-Move's power topped out at 220 and was usually only 200—not even as strong as Explosion.
But in the anime, their force far exceeded that of ordinary moves.
The animators had poured so much effort into them that Z-Moves lived up to their wildly over-the-top names.
Seeing Rock Z in action made Baimu even more eager to discover what he could do once he had a Z-Ring and a Z-Crystal of his own.
For now, though...
"It's your turn to show them what you can do."
Baimu watched Lycanroc hurl the sky-filling rock down with all its strength. Beside him, Mega Steelix hummed like a reactor on the verge of overload, but he paid it no mind.
He raised a hand. "Smash through it!"
Boom!
The ground trembled and sank.
The silver dragon rode an endless torrent of sand and stone, tearing through the air!
"Roar!"
A thunderous roar rang out overhead. As Mega Steelix charged straight at the colossal rock, its body blazed with dazzling, crystalline silver light.
In an instant,
it became a streak of silver too fast to touch. The rings revolving around it resembled the bands of a planet, creating a sight both beautiful and awe-inspiring.
Then—
Crash!!
Heavy Slam!
The rock that blotted out the sky broke apart piece by piece with a heart-shaking roar.
Silver light pierced straight through its enormous mass, shattering it like a meteor struck by a missile!
For the first time, Gladion looked shaken.
High in the sky,
Midnight Lycanroc saw a flash of silver. Then the solid rock
