[You glare at him, ready to curse him out, when you suddenly see your grandmother standing there, terribly anxious]
The string of insults above Bad Boy's head instantly turned into an ellipsis.
[You have nothing to say. Your grandmother doesn't scold you either; she just thanks the officer again and again]
The two left the police station.
They must not have spoken much on the way, because the scene shifted straight to their front door.
Bad Boy stood outside, refusing to go in.
