Calyrex went rigid.

Calyrex gazed at Baimu, who stood in the doorway with a serving cart, and at the phone beside him that had inexplicably made a clicking sound.

"Did you see that, my loyal subject?"

Baimu's expression did not change. "I don't know what you mean, Your Majesty. I only came to invite you to enjoy your offering."

Calyrex shifted its gaze to the Porygon Phone. "Then what is it doing?"

Baimu answered with perfect composure:

"Nothing at all, Your Majesty."

The Porygon Phone quietly buried the adorable photo of Calyrex waking up like a fawn begging for food in its deepest storage, then imitated its Trainer's tone:

"Esteemed Calyrex, I am here to serve you as well."

Really?

Calyrex eyed them both suspiciously.

But its attention was soon drawn to the aroma filling the room. A sensation it had never known before compelled it to look at the cart.

An oddly shaped metal object sat atop it.

The aroma came from inside.

"An offering..."

As Calyrex breathed in the tempting scent, memories rose one after another.
