"Blissey reverses Abilities! Salamence counters with Hurricane!"
Bai Niao's shout rang out over the field.
The storm swept across the arena, ripping grass from its roots and hurling it skyward along with mud and soil!
In an instant,
wind and rain engulfed most of the field, leaving it a hazy blur.
Blissey looked grave.
"Happy..."
"Don't worry about that. It can't hurt you. Use Meditation!"
Baimu gave the order.
With Gravity pressing down on the field, no wind could blow Blissey into the sky.
That left Hurricane only able to block sight and deal damage.
Blissey's Special Defense made weathering it easy enough.
At the sound of her trainer's calm voice,
Blissey gradually relaxed too, her mind still and clear.

A ripple spread across the lake of her mind.
Her Special Attack and Special Defense each rose one stage.
Only then did the storm reach her. Milky-white currents whipped dirt and torn grass against her body like lashes—
