In Faerun City, beyond the Absolute Divine Domain, more than a hundred small, honeycomb-like spaces suspended in midair could be seen clearly through the translucent curtain of light. One after another, they began to shatter.

The white light was the souls of the dead, sacrificed to the Nature God's Divine Kingdom. The red light was the essence of their flesh and blood, sacrificed to the Space-Time Gate. With each stream of white light that entered it, the projection of the Divine Kingdom grew clearer. With each stream of red light that entered the Space-Time Gate, another section of Runes lit up along its two pillars...

Outside the Absolute Divine Domain, Mayor Felch was arguing grimly with a one-eyed soldier.

The one-eyed soldier had a commanding presence, his gaze flashing with an icy, unyielding edge. He was Major General Gaddafi, commander of Achia Military Camp!

With Major General Bonaparte trapped inside the Absolute Divine Domain, Major General Gaddafi was Faerun City's highest-ranking military commander. His standing was in no way below Mayor Felch's.

The two men were arguing over whether to evacuate Faerun City's citizens on a large scale.

"Mr. Mayor, the people of the Nature Church have gone completely mad. We can't hesitate any longer. The situation here is out of control. We must evacuate the citizens at once, or the consequences will be unimaginable—more than either of us can bear!" Major General Gaddafi's voice was firm and hoarse, his hawk-like eyes fixed on Mayor Felch.
