Count Fulongke's mansion was nowhere near Viscount Luciwang's home. Though both stood in Freudenburg District, one was in the east and the other in the west. Nobles had their own hierarchy, after all. Barons and viscounts were lower nobility, while counts and those above them belonged to the upper nobility. The Lorenzo Kingdom had no explicit rule about it, but the division was an unspoken convention. If a marquis and a count were having afternoon tea, for example, a viscount or baron could not simply approach them for a chat. Unless invited, doing so would be terribly rude.

Thus, the residential areas of the upper and lower nobility in Freudenburg District had a clear boundary between them.

Selina and Freya did not know where Count Fulongke's mansion was. On the way, they came across a patrol of gang members. Seeing two battered young women out in the middle of the night, one of them badly injured, the men surrounded them with ill intentions. They had no idea they had run into two deadly opponents. No sooner had they closed in than Freya killed a swath of them with one swipe of her claws, leaving only one alive to lead the way.

The patrolmen were local gang members who knew the area well. When Freya asked where Count Fulongke lived, their surviving guide had a feeling the two murderous-looking young women were up to no good. Count Fulongke's reputation was foul. He cared nothing for the dignity or reputation of the nobility, and his perverse interests and horrifying methods had made him notorious even among his peers. Not long ago, the Kingdom Nobles' Council had formally reprimanded him for misconduct, ordered him to mend his ways, and imposed a hefty fine.
