Background / History

Green Wilson was originally a fallen member of a collateral noble branch who served the Wilson Family as a probationary steward. He received an aristocratic education and had previously spent two years at a knight academy, but his family’s fortunes had declined. He lived among the Wilson servants and regularly assisted Vincent Wilson. 1 33

Les and Old Bill intended to use Green as a blood sacrifice for a summoning ritual. The ritual failed, Green’s soul was sacrificed, and Xu Mu’s consciousness entered his body. The psychic energy stored in Green’s heart was released by the fatal stabbing, causing the corpse to heal and begin undergoing lichification. 1

After returning to Landon City, Green discovered that a damaged Bone Whistle had activated a Graveyard system based on a strategy game from Xu Mu’s former life. The system gave him access to a ruined necromancer city, recruitable undead, buildings, Psychic Energy, and a status interface. 2 3

Green formally entered the magical community with Vincent’s assistance and Doctor Wilkins’s recommendation. He registered with the Mages Association, acquired a staff, and demonstrated that his Graveyard Skeleton Soldiers possessed combat ability far beyond ordinary beginner summons. 6 10

His power expanded rapidly through experimentation. He converted Skeleton Soldiers into Gun Skeleton Soldiers, recruited elite undead, obtained the Gelfis Meditation Method, and used the Graveyard to correct flaws in the technique before cultivating it. 20 23

Green later treated the Tower of Yin Spirits as both a threat and a source of Psychic Energy. He raided its base in Boris Town, recruited the Evil Spirit Maxim, acquired the Ghost Eye, and used coordinated formations of Skeleton Soldiers, Ghouls, Zombies, and Ghosts to defeat the Tower’s members. 30 40

Appearance

Green retains the appearance of a young nobleman, but his body has begun to display undead characteristics. His eyes develop a greenish hue as lichification progresses. 1 26

Distinguishing features include:

  • Rapid healing after suffering a stab wound through the heart. 1
  • A heartbeat reduced to approximately twenty or thirty beats per minute. 1
  • Reduced sensitivity to cold. 1
  • Greenish pupils associated with further lichification. 26
  • Semi-lichification that helps protect him against mental seduction and spiritual interference. 39

Personality

Green is analytical and habitually treats supernatural phenomena as systems to be tested. He tracks mana recovery, Psychic Energy costs, troop strength, spell levels, equipment, and battlefield formations rather than relying on instinct alone. 2 8 28

He is pragmatic and politically cautious. Green conceals the true nature of the Graveyard, accepts the Wilson Family’s support while recognizing its self-interest, and avoids revealing his strongest undead assets unless doing so provides a strategic advantage. 11 24 27

Green’s morality is utilitarian but not entirely heartless. He kills enemies without hesitation when necessary, yet shows concern for abused victims and refuses to deliberately kill people solely to obtain souls for his Ghosts. 33 40

His confidence grows as his forces expand. Early on, he is inexperienced and nervous in combat; after defeating the Hard-Skin Ghoul and the Tower of Yin Spirits, he becomes capable of directing large-scale operations with calm, ruthless efficiency. 15 35

Abilities & Skills

Graveyard System

The Graveyard is Green’s central supernatural ability: a necromancer city and strategic interface connected to his consciousness. Its status panel identifies him as a Necromancer and tracks Psychic Energy, troops, buildings, and upgrades. 2 3

Applications and limits include:

  • Recruitable Skeleton Soldiers initially cost five Psychic Energy each. 5
  • Buildings can be constructed or upgraded using Psychic Energy, including the Zombie Crypt, Town Hall, City Defense Fortress, and Rotting Crypt. 23 40
  • The Graveyard can recognize modifications to existing units and create new troop types, such as Gun Skeleton Soldiers. 20
  • Undead and certain artifacts can be transported between the Graveyard and the physical world. 8 20
  • The Town Hall improves mana recovery and supports Green’s meditation. 8 23
  • Psychic Energy can be gained from supernatural enemies, magical items, and some forms of cultivation. 5 19 23
  • Psychic Energy is limited and is rapidly consumed by construction, recruitment, healing, and artifact certification. 21 23 40

Semi-Lichification

Green’s body is transforming toward lichification because of the psychic energy released from his damaged heart. The transformation allows him to survive a normally fatal injury and grants unusual resistance to physical and spiritual threats. 1

Applications and limits include:

  • Rapidly heals severe wounds.
  • Continues functioning despite abnormal heart activity.
  • Provides resistance to the Yin Spirit Parasite’s mental seduction. 39
  • Allows Green to preserve part of his spiritual consciousness within the Graveyard’s great bell, protecting him from mental abilities while the Graveyard remains safe. 43
  • The transformation remains incomplete; Green still recognizes his personal vulnerability and continues seeking defensive spells, stronger undead, and other safeguards. 26

Soul Summoning

Soul Summoning allows Green to bring Graveyard undead into the physical world and return them to the Graveyard. 8

Applications and limits include:

  • Summons Skeleton Soldiers that are tall, intelligent, heavily built, and obedient to Green. 5 8
  • Allows summoned undead to appear within a controlled range, later refined to roughly five meters. 20
  • Green can summon multiple undead rapidly and silently. 24
  • At Soul Summoning Level 3, he can summon approximately twelve Skeleton Soldiers before exhausting his mana. 8
  • Mana recovers in about three hours normally and roughly two hours when Green rests in the Graveyard Town Hall. 8
  • His body reaches its current endurance limit at Level 3, preventing immediate further advancement. 9

Bone Spikes

Bone Spikes is Green’s primary direct attack spell. Green adapts it to use stones and bricks from the Graveyard when sufficient bones are unavailable. 9

Applications and limits include:

  • Launches sharp spikes from the ground.
  • Can be modified to attack an area or focus on a single target. 20
  • Green improves its casting speed through repeated practice.
  • At Level 6, its power exceeds that of many first-circle spells and some weaker second-circle spells. 20
  • The stone-based version is slower because rock has a weaker magical affinity than bone. 9
  • The spell remains expensive in magical power and initially has limited effective range. 9 16

Death Spirit Sight

Death Spirit Sight allows Green to perceive traces and fluctuations hidden from ordinary vision. He uses it to investigate supernatural crime scenes and locate magical objects. 4 5

Applications and limits include:

  • Reveals concealed bloodstains and Psychic Energy fluctuations. 4 5
  • Helps identify magical objects such as the Wind Blade Bracelet.
  • Does not provide the same direct view of newly released souls as the Ghost Eye. 36

Gelfis Meditation Method

Green cultivates the Third Edition of the Gelfis Meditation Method after the Graveyard detects and corrects three errors, five abnormal mental nodes, and three abnormal Psychic Energy nodes. 23

Applications and limits include:

  • Uses visualization of a complex internal mechanism, initially a watch, to develop mental power.
  • Manifests a corresponding clock tower in the Graveyard Town Hall, greatly accelerating cultivation. 23
  • Raises Green to Intermediate Magic Apprentice level within several days.
  • Reduces his need for sleep; he normally rests for less than two hours and can remain active for several days if necessary. 32
  • Generates approximately one point of Psychic Energy every six hours during early cultivation. 23
  • Strengthens his resistance to mental charm and allows him to anchor a fragment of spiritual consciousness within the Graveyard. 43

Visual Synchronization

Visual Synchronization allows Green to observe through the perspective of a linked undead creature. He uses the Graveyard to complete a modified version of the first-circle spell. 32

Applications and limits include:

  • Enables remote reconnaissance through Maxim’s vision.
  • Allows Green to observe the Ceramic Factory while remaining in an inn room.
  • Supports coordinated ambushes and battlefield commands.
  • The link weakens near the ancient pyramid, where surviving magical arrays interfere with Green’s control over undead. 33

Necromantic Command

Green commands undead units as specialized military assets rather than disposable summons.

Applications include:

  • Deploying Gun Skeleton Soldiers as ranged troops.
  • Using Ghouls and Hard-Skin Ghouls for melee assaults.
  • Using Zombies as durable frontline units.
  • Using Maxim and Ghosts as invisible or soul-targeting assassins.
  • Combining firearms, spellcasting, formations, deception, and ambushes to defeat stronger individual opponents. 25 35 38

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Laurel-wood staff — An inexpensive staff that slightly increases casting speed, contains a Light Spell, and can store a defensive spell below the third circle. 10
  • Enchanted pistol — A powerful dark-gold firearm acquired during the Tower of Yin Spirits raid. It is substantially stronger than the enchanted rifles Green previously purchased. 33 34
  • Ghost Eye — An ancient Necromancer artifact made from a young dragon’s eye. It can absorb souls, restrain spiritual entities, reveal souls as colored spheres, and transform collected souls into Ghosts. 36
  • Enchanted rifles — Green purchases and equips Skeleton Soldiers with military rifles whose runes can be activated by undead Psychic Energy. The Graveyard converts them into Necromantic weapons and reinforces their armor, creating Gun Skeleton Soldiers. 20 24
  • Gelfis Meditation Method, Third Edition — A rare meditation technique delivered through a crystal pendant by Elizabeth Franton. Green has the Graveyard correct its hidden flaws before cultivating it. 22 23
  • Hard-Skin Ghoul — A captured and Graveyard-modified elite Level 2 undead with a combat power of 9.5. 15
  • Evil Spirit Maxim — A recruited Level 3 elite undead with a combat power of 11.9, capable of invisibility, sonic attacks, and life-force suppression. 31

Relationships

  • Vincent Wilson — Close friend, adviser, and quasi-brother. Vincent helps Green access Doctor Wilkins, supports his registration with the Mages Association, lends him money, and becomes increasingly cautious as Green’s power grows. 1 6 9 27 40
  • ShirleyVincent’s young maid and one of Green’s earliest friendly contacts within the Wilson household. 1
  • Viscount Paul — Patron and head of the Wilson Family. He attempts to secure Green’s loyalty through money, recognition, and the promise of restoring Green’s family honor. 6 11
  • Doctor Wilkins — The Wilson Family’s private Attendant and a Senior Magic Apprentice. He recognizes Green’s Necromantic talent and provides the recommendation that helps Green register with the Mages Association. 6 10
  • Penny WilsonVincent’s cousin and Green’s former childhood friend. Their relationship becomes protective and sibling-like after Green rescues her from the Tower of Yin Spirits. 24 28
  • Elizabeth Franton — A mysterious and exceptionally powerful woman from Faerun City. She trades or gives Green the Gelfis Meditation Method while seeking information about his unusual undead and soul. 13 15 16 22
  • Lola Claudi — Adventurer, black-market merchant, and business contact. She supplies Green with information and damaged magical objects, although both treat their relationship primarily as a commercial arrangement. 11 19 29
  • Les and Old Bill — Members of the summoning organization responsible for Green’s original death. After receiving power from the Tower of Yin Spirits, they confront Green and are killed by his Gun Skeleton Soldiers. 1 24 25
  • Hard-Skin Ghoul — Green’s first major elite undead. It is captured after their battle, modified by the Graveyard, and later serves as Green’s strongest close-combat asset for much of the early story. 14 15 25
  • Maxim — A Ghost who evolves into a Level 3 Evil Spirit before Green recruits him. Maxim serves as a scout, assassin, and remote viewpoint for Green. 30 33
  • The Graveyard — Green’s primary supernatural foundation and the system through which he develops his Necromantic army, buildings, equipment, and cultivation support. 2 3
