Anyone watching the Death Angel Clone from the side would have seen him twist like a strand of rope, then shoot into the Portrait. The distortion did not harm Green, though, and he was neither surprised nor panicked. Instead, he remained calm, as if he had been waiting for this moment.

A few more rounds of experience like this, and she would be ready to advance to Formal Advanced Rank, with Legendary Rank in sight. Of course, advancing to Legendary Rank was not so easy. Green, her False God, had yet to advance, so Mrs. Hilgaf, as his follower, had little chance of doing so either. But she had gained enough experience. Once Green reached Legendary Rank and opened the way, Mrs. Hilgaf's accumulated strength would carry her forward close behind him. In fact, the bear-like woman had already overtaken Selina and Freya, becoming the strongest Transcendent on the Shadow Trade Association's side.
