"Hm?" Cyrabelle raised an eyebrow. She hadn't expected the Little King to lose his temper so suddenly. She glanced back at Green, who stood ramrod straight, then hesitated. Instead of speaking, she stepped aside and left him fully exposed to the angry Little King.

The Little King and Marquis Belon were both taken aback. They had expected Cyrabelle to intervene and reprimand her subordinate—not as a sign of weakness, but to protect him. What was she doing now? Their first thought was that she meant to use them to kill him. Was this man not her confidant after all?
