A thick cloud of dust billowed through the gateway. Green narrowed his dull eyes and, expressionless, waved a hand. The bombardment stopped at once. When the dust cleared, bodies lay scattered inside the gateway. They had been killed by the Undead Cannons' power and the shockwaves of Psychic Energy unleashed when the shells struck the gates.
The gateway had been narrow to begin with, and now all manner of debris clogged it. The defenders had tried to barricade the entrance, but there had been too little time. Green's artillery had blasted the gates open before they could finish.
