"Council Chairman, the Soul Coffer Lord Sinem left in our care just shattered!" Akalia said, her face grave and her voice urgent.
The old man looked up again and set down his experimental notes. As chairman of the Death Council and its number-one member, Freemansta knew what a shattered Soul Coffer meant for a Necromancer. Sinem was the council's seventeenth member. His number was not especially high, but he was a High-Level Legendary powerhouse and one of the Death Council's true leaders.
"What happened? Where did Sinem go? Even his soul was destroyed. Did he run into someone of Calamity Rank?" the old man asked darkly. Losing a council member was a grave matter for the Death Council.
"Lord Sinem went to the Number Twelve Void World," Akalia said. "Should we send someone to investigate?"
Freemansta frowned. "The Number Twelve Void World is Grand Duke Mora's territory. That old fox is no easy opponent. Why did Sinem go and provoke him?"
"Council Chairman, as I understand it, Lord Sinem went to collect something important. I don't know the details. But reliable sources say Grand Duke Mora isn't in the Number Twelve Void World right now. Two Calamity Rank powerhouses from the Rune Federation have him tied down in the Main World."
Freemansta scoffed. "Hah. Those newly ascended Calamity Rank fighters from Ruen? Two of them couldn't hold Grand Duke Mora down. Even if they all went, they couldn't do it. If Mora really is tied down, it's because he's plotting something. I know that bastard. Still, I doubt he did this. Mora and I have some history. He knows Sinem is my man. Even if he taught Sinem a lesson, he wouldn't destroy his soul."
