Behind the Eastern Bastion, an endless mass of undead creatures blanketed the ground. Millions of them, in every shape and size, covered an immense area.

High overhead, Mahabam, the Calamity Rank Bone Dragon, circled like a lion patrolling his territory.

Princess Mulesina had landed on the summit of a nearby mountain.

The peak was barren. Not a single plant grew among its dark gray rocks.

Green stood beside Princess Mulesina. Shoulder to shoulder, they looked down at the Undead Army, then farther out at the enormous hemispherical blue Light Screen spanning hundreds of kilometers.

"Congratulations, Your Highness. You finally got what you wanted," Green said mildly. He drew his gaze back and glanced at the enormous Bone Dragon circling overhead.

"I have you to thank for it. That enhanced Divine Power Core works wonderfully," Princess Mulesina said. "If I wanted the technology to make one, you wouldn't agree, would you?"

Green did not answer, but his expression said enough.

Princess Mulesina had expected as much. She smiled, unsurprised. "I thought so. If I had technology like that, I wouldn't share it freely either."

"There's no need to dwell on it, Your Highness. Even if we can't share the technology, I promise to supply you with as many as you need," Green declared.

Princess Mulesina was unconvinced. "When I was little, my father told me that the moment someone thumps their chest and makes a promise, they're already preparing to break it."

Green blinked his dead-fish eyes and gave a dry chuckle. "You can't judge every situation the same way. Besides, if a deal falls through, it just means the price wasn't right. Trustworthiness has nothing to do with it."
