At the Grand Duke's Castle in Alsa Province, Phipas met Green, who had just returned from Anubis's graveyard.
Green frowned when he saw the identical corpses. "What happened to these bodies?"
Archbishop Phipas immediately recounted what had happened.
Green frowned slightly and summoned Black Claw and Dr. Vincent to examine and dissect the bodies thoroughly.
To their surprise, neither Black Claw nor Dr. Vincent found any trace of magic or alchemy on the corpses!
"Your Majesty, this is incredible! No supernatural forces were involved. They copied human beings using science alone!" Black Claw marveled. He looked at the corpses as if he had found treasure and planned to investigate their secrets.
Green, however, recognized it for what it was: highly advanced Cloning Technology.
What he couldn't imagine was who, in a world dominated by the supernatural, had mastered Cloning Technology so thoroughly. Was it Sea God Poseidon, or someone else?
Given the Titan Race's hostility toward science, Poseidon was unlikely to have developed it. The chances of another Titan doing so were slim as well.
Green found it more likely that Sea Emperor Poseidon had an ally who possessed the technology, or had obtained a way to use it through some other means.
Thoughts crowded Green's mind.
Where had Cloning Technology come from? Had some genius developed it, or had someone else crossed over into this world like he had?
Or was there another explanation?
Green didn't keep what he knew about Cloning Technology to himself. He explained its basic principles to Archbishop Phipas.
