Green looked closely. Each of the two surviving green Robots had a spherical, transparent Light Screen around them!
"Hm?" Green was puzzled. Then he saw the two translucent spheres slowly rise.
The two people inside looked equally bewildered. Clearly, they had no idea what was happening.
Green frowned slightly and watched the spheres climb until they suddenly vanished. In the end, he made no move to stop them.
He had a feeling those two had been chosen by "Them."
What they had been chosen for, Green had no idea. Probably nothing good. They were losers who had been moments from death, yet someone had saved them and taken them away. People like that would not normally qualify.
Unless it was their parents or mentors who had intervened, Green could not imagine anyone being bored enough to take in two losers and support them.
Whatever the case, it had nothing to do with Green for now.

Green lowered his gaze and looked in another direction.

Its body differed from the other Robots. Its pilot had evidently worked out some of its functions and shaped it into a beast. Like a lion, it held its head low and looked up at Green.
Though its eyes were mechanical, Green could see greed and ferocity in their gaze.
This was the truly dangerous opponent.
