But before he could pull out the syringe, his whole body began to convulse, much like Mrs. Hilgaf's had.
Archbishop Link's reaction was even more violent. Perhaps because he had injected the extract directly into his heart, even someone as powerful as him could not bear the searing heat. A low growl escaped his throat.
