Reassured, Green rose from the bathtub, dried himself, changed into his pajamas, and returned to the living room—only to find a pair of dazzlingly pale legs stretched out on the sofa. Lola wore a nightdress that barely reached her thighs. She seemed to have just bathed too; her hair was still damp as she lounged on the sofa, reading and eating snacks.
Green was at a loss. When he returned earlier, Lola had claimed that her home had been destroyed when the Void Yin Spirit descended. She had spent the past few days in an inn, could not stand it anymore, and wanted to stay here for a while.
