Fish-Man Island was an incredibly wondrous place, no matter how one looked at it.

Not only was the entire island made up of one large island and one small island, but each island was protected by two layers of coating.

The interior of Fish-Man Island was also divided into two sections, as though a sphere had been sliced in half.

The upper half was filled with air, while the lower half was filled with seawater.

Because the higher one went, the more sunlight from Sunlight Tree Eve reached the area, both the cost of housing and the level of consumption in the upper half of Fish-Man Island were relatively high. This was also the most prosperous area of the entire island. The lower half, meanwhile, was where the vast majority of Fish-Men and mermaids lived, and the farther down one went, the cheaper it became.

For example, Fish-Man District, the most backward area on the entire island, lay at the very bottom of Fish-Man Island, deep beneath the seawater.
