As the Twin Goddess cut through the dark sea, a line that seemed to divide heaven and earth appeared ahead.
The thick clouds began to disperse. Blinding rays pierced through them, and the vast, bright blue sky and ocean appeared before everyone once more.
"Oh!"
Everyone gathered around the railing at the bow stared wide-eyed.
"So this is the New World?"
"We haven't seen the sky or the sun for a whole month!"
"I feel completely free now!"
Although Fish-Man Island had a sky and sunlight as well, they were ultimately just reflections of light shining on the bubbles. They could not compare with the real sky at all. Moreover, Fish-Man Island was not very large, and there was only so much land. The Fish-Men might have grown accustomed to it, but to the members of the Sky Pirate Crew, it still created a vague sense of constraint. Perhaps that was why the Fish-Men of Fish-Man Island had wanted to live beneath the sunlight on land for so many centuries.
"As expected of bumpkins from the first half of the Grand Line!"
On the Big Mom pirate ship sailing alongside the Twin Goddess, Charlotte Daifuku spoke without thinking and was immediately reprimanded by Katakuri.
"Watch your words. Don't forget our mission this time!"
"I know!"
Though he said that, the unconcerned look in Charlotte Daifuku's eyes made it obvious that he had not taken Katakuri's words to heart.
Perospero, however, kept the mission firmly in mind. Seeing the bright sunshine around them, he shouted toward the deck of the Twin Goddess.
"Captain Ye Mu, now that we can stop, could we have a little chat?"
Ye Mu was a very polite man as well.
