The night passed quickly.

By dawn, the sky had begun to brighten, and sunlight streamed into Big Mom's treasure room.

Katakuri sat on the sofa, having not closed his eyes all night as he stared fixedly at the enormous book before him.

What had happened with Roger was enough once.

If the Sky Pirate Crew managed to rescue that fox from Mama again, then the Big Mom Pirates would truly become a laughingstock.

Although he had not slept all night, Katakuri did not feel tired at all. The only thing bothering him was his hunger.

Katakuri regarded sugar as the source of his strength, and like Big Mom, he had an unusual fondness for sweets.

Just as he was about to order a Chess Soldier to bring him some sweets, as if they shared the same thoughts, the door to the treasure room was pushed open. A girl who looked like an evil old woman walked in.

When Katakuri saw her, his usually proud and cold face softened into a rare, gentle smile.

"Brûlée, what brings you here?"

The girl called Brûlée wore an expression of shyness that was completely at odds with her sinister appearance.

"I heard from Brother Perospero that you stood guard in the treasure room all night, Brother Katakuri. I thought you must be hungry, so I brought you some sweets."

As she spoke, Brûlée pushed in a food cart. On it were Katakuri's favorite doughnuts and black tea, which she brought right in front of him.

Katakuri's appetite immediately stirred. A blissful expression appeared on his face, and he was just about to pull down the scarf covering his mouth and start eating when he noticed Brûlée beside him and held himself back.

Seeing this, Brûlée said sadly,

"It's fine in front of me, Brother
