Reunion

The sky had just begun to brighten over the sea around Baterilla Island.

When the Navy hero, Monkey D. Garp, swam across the Calm Belt alone, cutting through every obstacle in his path, and reached the shore,

a pungent smell entered his nose.

As a battle-hardened warrior, Garp immediately recognized it as the smell of burning human flesh. The charred lumps along the shore further proved his conclusion.

However, he had no time to concern himself with that.

When he arrived at the house by following the familiar route and pushed open the door, it was already empty. Not a single person remained.

There was only a note pasted to the wall. It read: "All is well."

Garp frowned and did not relax.

Thus, he went to the center of town and revealed his identity.

The title of Navy hero was something ordinary Marines could not compare to. Even throughout the South Blue, there was hardly anyone who did not know of him.

Soon, Garp learned from the island residents everything that had happened the night before.

After all, Rouge had most likely been taken away by them. However, when he tried to leave, the residents of Baterilla Island desperately begged him to stay.
