Professor Clover was already 103 years old. His hair had long since turned gray, and his back had grown stooped, but he was still in good spirits and needed no help walking.
Twenty years ago, back on Ohara, Professor Clover had dreamed of deciphering the Poneglyphs and uncovering the truth of the Void Century. But after Ohara's near destruction and his arrival in Rainbow Country, his outlook had gradually changed. His pursuit of history had given way to teaching and nurturing students, and he had devoted himself to education.
At Ye Mu's request, Professor Clover had written all the textbooks used throughout Rainbow Country.
As for the House of Archaeology, Professor Clover had entrusted it to Olvia, a scholar of the younger generation.
Olvia was now in her fifties as well. Out of respect for time and history, she had refused the Pure Gold ring Ye Mu had offered her. The years had therefore left quite a few marks on her face, but they also made her look even more learned and refined.
The two came over after receiving Ye Mu's summons.
Their offices were inside the Sun Temple, so the trip between floors took only a few minutes.
As soon as they entered, they saw Ye Mu seated in the center of the front row.
Both of them felt deeply grateful to Ye Mu.
After all, Ye Mu had not only saved Ohara, but also reunited Olvia with her daughter Robin and, finally, given them their ideal careers. Neither could ever repay that kindness. All they could do was devote their lives to Rainbow Country's future.
As the two approached, Ye Mu stood up and introduced them.
"These are Professor Clover and Professor Olvia of Rainbow Country. And these two are Red-Haired Shanks and Mr. Dragon!"
