The situation in the Goa Kingdom had stabilized, and everything was on the right track. As long as things continued according to Ryan's plans, there would be no problems.

Ryan now had time to complete his missions and improve his strength. Every day, he set aside time to teach Kuina, Kid, Killer, Ace, Enel, and the others.

Sometimes Fujitora, Luffy, Tiger, Sabo, and the others would come over to sit in on the lessons.

Naturally, he taught things that aligned with the core values of socialism. Though not everything was suitable for the pirate world; patriotism, civility, and harmony, for instance, clearly did not fit.

So Ryan selected eight principles for them to study: democracy, freedom, equality, justice, rule of law, patriotism, dedication, and integrity.

Ryan had chosen these based on the current state of the pirate world. They were easier for people to accept and less likely to provoke resistance.

Freedom, for example, was extremely popular with them. Whenever Ryan taught that subject, they listened with rapt attention, because they all yearned for freedom.

The rule of law, on the other hand, was their least favorite lesson.

In Ryan's eyes, these people were the hope of the future, because he understood just how much power they would possess once they grew up.

Changing the world was not empty talk, nor was it child's play. It was not something that could be accomplished merely by possessing strength. Even if you truly overthrew the World Government through overwhelming power, the world would still be the same at its core. Pirates would continue to run rampant, wars would never cease, and the slave trade would remain unending.

Only by changing people's minds, making them believe deep down that something was wrong and that they must not do it, then reinforcing that belief
