Is There More to This?

"Leave?" Evelyn stared at Ryan in disbelief. Could someone in this world really resist the temptation of money?!

Though she subconsciously felt that was impossible, seeing the unquestionable look in Ryan's eyes made Evelyn doubt her past experience.

"Could it be that money really can't do everything?" Evelyn was somewhat dazed.

In the end, Evelyn did not persist any further and chose to leave, but she still left behind one sentence before going.

"I'll be back!"

Under Ryan and the others' watchful gazes, Evelyn left.

Robin asked curiously, "Ryan, why did you refuse them?"

In Robin's view, sheltering others was a very simple matter. They could gain generous rewards without paying much of a price, so why not?

There were many such examples on the Grand Line. Some great pirates protected countries, and those countries in turn offered them money. This arrangement was not uncommon in the pirate world.

"Too troublesome!" Ryan said lazily as he lay on the sofa.

Although Ryan had decided to change the world, deep down he was still someone who feared trouble. Unless there was a special reason, he did not want to have dealings or ties with too many people.

"Your Majesty?" The madam guarding the entrance saw Evelyn emerge with a dark expression and asked worriedly, "Are you all right?"

"I'm fine. Serve them well!"

Naturally, the madam understood Evelyn's meaning. They had dealt with many people using this method before. As long as they served them comfortably, anything could be discussed.

But...

"Your Majesty, they... aren't ordinary customers!"

Seeing the madam hesitate, Evelyn asked irritably, "What is it?"

"They didn't do that. They only came to watch the dancing!" The madam answered Evelyn truthfully.

They came to watch the dancing?

Evelyn seemed to recall something. When she had first entered, they really
