How could he let Fujitora and the others act when such a good opportunity had presented itself? The people below were not people at all! They were walking Attribute Points, free gains. Besides, Ryan wanted to see whether One Sword Opens Heaven's Gate now possessed the power to kill Kaido.
Kaido of the Beasts, the world's strongest creature, possessed an "immortal body." At least for now, no method of killing him had been found. Even when the Navy and the World Government captured him, they merely imprisoned him. It was not as though they had not tried other methods. They probably just could not kill him. Otherwise, why would they capture one of the Four Emperors and not execute him? That would be utterly idiotic, would it not?
One had to know how great an impact it would have on the world if one of the Four Emperors died at the Navy's hands. So the World Government definitely could not kill him, not that they did not want to.
Ryan just wondered whether the Navy had ever tried using Devil Fruits to kill Kaido. As everyone knew, no one in this world could eat two Devil Fruits—Blackbeard Teach excepted. Yet Kaido was still standing here alive, which clearly meant he had already endured that test.
Ryan had previously probed Kaido about it. Although Kaido had not answered, silence was the best answer.
And today, Ryan intended to find out whether that move of his could truly kill Kaido!
