The next day, word of Ryan's summons reached the members of the Freedom Alliance.
At a harbor in the Goa Kingdom, East Blue, a group was saying goodbye to the people who had come to see them off. Their leader was a Fish-man with a long, sharp, saw-toothed nose.
"Brother Arlong, are we going to see the leader again this time?" Shapi asked.
"What are we going to the New World for?"
Questions flew from the crowd.

Of everyone there, Arlong was the most committed. Tiger had praised him, and the leader himself had once patted him on the shoulder.
In East Blue, Arlong managed every Freedom Alliance member except Sabo. It wasn't just because he was strong. More importantly, he believed everyone was equal. Whatever their race, Arlong treated them the same and was always willing to help. That was exceedingly rare in this world.
Ryan had left a profound mark on the Pirate World, especially in the places he had visited. Arlong was one example.
And East Blue was far from the only place.

Similar scenes unfolded across North Blue, West Blue, and many parts of the Grand Line.
Freedom Alliance members boarded merchant ships bound for the New World.
At Ryan's call, countless talented people set out for the New World. They came from the Four Seas, from different walks of life and different races. Now they all shared one goal: to reach the New World
