After Jin’er revealed her opposition to Nether River, she and Gu Sheng formed a tentative alliance, but Xiao Beixuan’s forces sealed the secret realm’s exit.

• Gu Sheng killed Ye Changling, traveled toward Boundless Ancient City with Zhao Boyang’s help, and met Gu Yuan, whom he recruited as a guide and potential disciple.
• A tide of remnant souls destroyed the camp, but Gu Sheng used the Nine Dragon Universe Cauldron to refine them into Soul Beads and complete the fusion of his divine soul with the Chaos Spirit Embryo.
• Gu Sheng and Gu Yuanyuan joined Zhao Boyang’s group in entering the Hall of a Thousand Souls secret realm, where Gu Sheng learned that the Thousand Souls Sacrifice Array would consume its controller.

Gu Sheng gathered allies, protected his companions, and entered the Boundless Sacred Land ruins to rescue Situ Qingfeng, where Xiao Beixuan’s attack cost the group dearly. After Gu Sheng escaped with Situ Qingfeng and Xiao Mengling, he prepared to travel south while taking charge of Linlang Pavilion’s affairs in the Eastern Wasteland.

• Gu Sheng and Jin'er fought their way out of the secret realm, and Jin'er agreed to join forces with him against Nether River.
• Gu Sheng returned to Linlang Pavilion, arranged protection for his companions, and helped Gu Yuanyuan rebuild her cultivation with the Primordial Unity Qi Scripture.
• Tantai Bing Tang rescued Gu Sheng and Miss Tantai from Ye Hanguang, then warned Gu Sheng that Jin'er’s Blood Demon bloodline was central to Nether River Venerable’s scheme.

After Xiao Beixuan’s forces devastated the Gu family, Gu Sheng lured his enemies toward the Southern Frontier and entered the Golden Peng’s Nest secret realm. He obtained the Fate Weaver’s inheritance and began preparing to build his Sect Realm foundation, while threats and allies converged elsewhere in the realm.

• Gu Sheng learned that the Gu family had been massacred and Gu Lie captured, then vowed to make Xiao Beixuan pay and set out with Situ Qingfeng toward the Southern Frontier.
• Xia Wuyou’s incarnation slaughtered more than ten thousand fighters sent against Gu Sheng, while Gu Sheng escaped with Situ Qingfeng and later secured Nangong Yuexia’s help entering the secret realm.
• Gu Sheng freed Gu Lie through rescuers, sent an incarnation disguised as Yun Qing with Xiaguang City’s expedition, and entered the Golden Peng’s Nest with Situ Qingfeng.

Gu Sheng forged a new Dao Body, escaped the secret realm, and secured the Five Poisons Divine Cult’s alliance before defeating Xiao Beixuan and avenging the Gu Family. He then left for Central Continent with his companions, arriving in Meteor Moon City to pursue the mystery of Senior Azure Dragon.

• Gu Sheng forged his Dao Body, claimed the Fate Controlling Yin Plate, and escaped the secret realm while the Longevity Old Ancestor branded survivors and Qi Diao Wu rescued him and Qi Diao Yaoyao.
