The Wager, the Game Begins

Zoro's face was slightly flushed from the alcohol as he sat at the dining table, having dinner with his companions.

"Huh? You and Ace are getting married in less than a month?" Luffy said in shock. His sworn older brother was getting married so soon. It felt as though they had only just become sworn brothers, yet in the blink of an eye, they had reached the age of starting families.

Time flowed on like a river, never pausing day or night. Yeah, it felt as if we were still in the classroom yesterday, attending dull, tedious lessons, eating barely edible meals, and looking at the person we longed to see...

"Yeah! I wasn't really ready either, but I really am at the age to get married!" Yamato sighed as well. Just a few months ago, her relationship with Kaido had been like fire and water, utterly incompatible. Yet now, they looked like a loving father and dutiful daughter. Who could have imagined it?
