A Fierce Battle

Aokiji was the only one on the battlefield without an opponent. Kizaru had escorted Akainu back to the warship and would probably return soon.

"Kuzan! Go kill Vegapunk!" Saint Saturn ordered.

The Red Earl heard him and sneered. "You'll have to get past me first!"

The scarlet aura around him surged even more fiercely. From a distance, he looked like a blazing fire.

With a single hand, the Red Earl reached Saint Saturn. Both possessed Mythical Zoan Fruits, and their transformed bodies were roughly the same size.

One was a spider; the other, a bat.

The bat bared his fangs. With immense strength, he gripped the spider and held him fast.

Roar!

With a snarl, he sank his teeth into him.

Squelch!

Black blood gushed from Saint Saturn's body.

Pain shot through Saint Saturn. His sharp leg stabbed upward, straight for the Red Earl's head.

The Red Earl immediately folded his bat wings over his head. A metallic clang rang out.

His wings were harder than tempered iron, daunting anyone who thought to break through them.

"You bastard! Kneel and apologize now, while you still can. Otherwise, we'll hunt you to the ends of the earth!" Saint Saturn threatened.

The Red Earl laughed scornfully. His fanged bat face was terrifying.

With Saint Saturn's black blood still dripping from his mouth, he looked like a demon crawled out of hell.

"The ends of the earth? If I kill you today, I won't have to worry about that," the Red Earl said matter-of-factly.

Seeing the Red Earl treat him with such contempt, Saint Saturn burned with rage. He glared at him like a venomous snake.

The Red Earl met his gaze without a trace of fear.

In the past, he might have hesitated. He might even have suffered the humiliation of fleeing.
