The Celestial Dragons rarely came to the South Gate. They only deigned to come here when selecting slaves or playthings.
But today, two Celestial Dragons happened to arrive together.
"What's going on up ahead?" asked a rather plain-looking man with a frown, a trace of confusion in his eyes.
"I don't know. Could it be a riot?" replied another Celestial Dragon with a rat-like face. His tone held a hint of uncertainty, but he showed little fear or nervousness. Clearly, he had seen scenes like this many times.
"Who knows? You brought the new guns, right?"
"Unfortunately for them, I brought two." The rat-faced man chuckled, a smug look appearing on his face.
"Then let's begin!" He tossed a hunting rifle to the plain-looking man.
This was a hunting game the two of them played. Whenever there was a riot or they felt bored, they would select a group of slaves and drive them onto a vast meadow.
Fine wine and delicacies would be placed ahead of them. The slaves usually ate worse than pigs and dogs, so upon seeing such delicious food, they naturally ran toward it in a frenzy, their eyes burning with greed.
The two men would then fire at the "rare slaves" as they crawled forward. Whoever had less food eaten on his side in the end would lose.
However, this time was somewhat different. There were many more rioting slaves, packed together like a surging tide.
But they merely sent out a few more guards and kept themselves slightly farther away.
The plain-looking Celestial Dragon raised his hunting rifle first. Through the scope, he watched the prey ahead, his eyes filled with excitement and cruelty.
