Quinta and Marcus felt deeply conflicted. These people had truly helped them tremendously.
Before these people arrived, quite a few had already suffered gunshot wounds. They had thought this war would be somewhat different from the last one, but it turned out not to be.
Still, their years of training had not been entirely useless. At the very least, they had become much faster and could dodge quite a few bullets.
"Thank you."
Palo happened to come up beside Marcus. He carried a strong scent of blood, and though he had not fought much, plenty of bloodstains still covered him.
"What are you thanking us for? Watch out, there won't be anyone left!"
Palo did not think there was anything worth thanking him for.
Hearing Palo's reminder, Marcus steadied himself and threw himself back into the fight.
"What the hell is going on with these people?"
"I don't have a weapon anymore! Save me, stop beating me!"
"I don't have one either!"
Most of the Christol Pirate Crew no longer had weapons in their hands.
They wanted to call for their captain's help, but after searching around, they could not find him anywhere.
Could their captain have already gone down ahead of them?
They began looking over the people who had already fallen to the ground, but none of them had red hair.
"Did the captain abandon us and run away?"
One pirate cried out in despair.
There was simply no way to keep fighting this battle.
It would have been one thing if those strange people did not kill them, but they had actually taken away their weapons. How was that any different from killing them? They might as well have given them a quick death with a blade.
Robin was more observant than the others. After looking around,
