Background

Enel ruled Upper Yard from a lavish golden throne, enforcing his authority through the Four Priests and his Mantra. He considered himself a god, regarded ordinary people as beneath him, and intended to travel to the “Endless Earth,” which he believed was the proper home of gods. When Moyun’s crew arrived on Sky Island, Enel detected them immediately and ordered his priests to eliminate them. 103 112

After the priests were defeated, Enel personally hunted the intruders. He swiftly incapacitated Hisoka and Kuina, shattered Kuina’s sword Yubashiri, and defeated Robin and Sabo with lightning attacks. He then overwhelmed the Shandia and forced War Ghost into despair by reviving himself after a seemingly fatal blow. 111 113 114

Enel initially dominated Moyun through Mantra, elemental intangibility, and increasingly powerful lightning. His 100 Million Volts: Divine Punishment destroyed Moyun’s body, but Moyun survived through Nirvana Rebirth and returned with powerful resistance to lightning.
