At the sight of the Ancient One, Wanda gave an awkward bow.
The Ancient One had regained her composure and looked at Wanda with her usual impassive expression.
Though inwardly, she was still unsettled.
But she had practiced magic for many years.
She could at least recover her composure.
"Hello, Ancient One," Wanda said respectfully after bowing.
The Ancient One nodded and asked Wanda, "What brings you here so late?"
Wanda had been struggling to figure out how to tell the Ancient One she was leaving. She hadn't expected her to ask first.
That only made Wanda hesitate more.
Deep down, Wanda didn't want to leave.
She had finally met a man she liked.
Leaving before she'd even had a chance to get close to him was the last thing she wanted.
She couldn't bring herself to let go of Zhang Yang.
While Wanda wavered, Quicksilver hurriedly said, "We're leaving. We came to say goodbye."
Compared with Wanda, Quicksilver was far less polite.
It wasn't that he had anything against the Ancient One. That was simply how he was.
Ignoring his rudeness, the Ancient One looked at Wanda. "You're leaving?"
She had asked Wanda, not Quicksilver.
Her eyes seemed to see straight through people.
Wanda shivered under her gaze.
How could I possibly want to leave?

"We've imposed on you for quite a while. I don't know whether it's still convenient for us to stay at Kamar-Taj. If it isn't, we'll leave tonight." Wanda didn't want to seem too eager.
So she expressed what she wanted a little indirectly.
She addressed her answer to the Ancient One.
The Ancient One understood perfectly well what she meant.
Wanda was saying she didn't particularly want to leave.
