Zhang Yang meant what he said. Blunt as he was, he had no idea how to beat around the bush.
But the girl's expression changed the moment she heard him.
Her eager affection gave way to a blank stare.
Looking at his expressionless face, she said in frustration, "Didn't I tell you my name is Qing? I'm the woman who'll spend her life with you! How could you forget my name?!"
The girl named Qing spoke with complete seriousness.

Wanda and Aili were stunned and furious.

"Mm. You remember me now." Qing hopped onto the edge of a flower bed and sat down, then shot Aili and Wanda a smug look.
It made them seethe.
Aili, who was the more direct of the two, couldn't hold back. "What did she mean when she said she'd spend her life with you?"
Perhaps she was too afraid that Qing really had some connection to Zhang Yang.
She didn't even use an honorific when she asked him.
