If he had not known that Death was nothing but a pile of bones, Zhang Yang might have given her a second look.
But now, whenever he saw Death in that black robe, all he could think of was those creepy bones.

But before he could cast the spell, Death's voice rang out behind him. "You know exactly what kind of position you're in."
"You've learned the Book of the Vishanti. Eternity has a serious problem with that."
"If you stay in the Death Realm, Eternity can't find you."
"But if you leave..."
Death stopped there.
She knew perfectly well that a layer of energy around Zhang Yang blocked energy from outside.
Granted, even Death was not entirely sure
what that barrier was.
But generally speaking, as long as Zhang Yang did not use magic, he was practically invisible.
The Multiverse was vast.
On that scale,
if Eternity could not detect Zhang Yang's energy, searching for him one place at a time would be a tremendous hassle.
Yet Death knew one thing just as well.
Zhang Yang could not avoid using magic forever. Once he did, finding him would become much easier.
