"Zhang Yang went back."
In Eternity's Domain, Infinity sat on the Eternal Emperor's throne and spoke to Eternity.
Eternity had to admit he wasn't happy about it.
His throne was, after all, the seat of the Creator Gods' administrator.
True, Eternity had promised Infinity the administrator's seat if she agreed to deal with Zhang Yang.
But the moment he saw her sitting there,
Eternity still felt a little unhappy.
More than a little, really.
Why did someone like Zhang Yang have to appear in the Multiverse?
If not for Zhang Yang, would he have had to give up his seat as administrator?
The thought left Eternity simmering with resentment.
Still, there was nothing he could do about it.
"Enough. Why aren't you on your way to Kamar-Taj?" Eternity asked, his displeasure plain in his voice.
Infinity knew exactly why he was upset.
And for some reason, seeing him so unhappy put her in a rather good mood.
She took a sip of tea and shook her head. "No rush. He's just a being from Earth. I can deal with him with a wave of my hand. What are you so anxious about?"
Infinity rolled her eyes at him. "Zhang Yang has survived this long. Are you afraid he'll survive a little longer?"
A faint, haughty smile crossed her face.
Honestly,
if Eternity hadn't been so anxious, Infinity wouldn't have paid an Earthling like Zhang Yang this much attention.
But there was something else that interested her.
"Zhang Yang is already back at Kamar-Taj, and yet your precious disciple hasn't come to see you. It seems The Ancient One really does intend to turn her back on the gods. She doesn't even care that you've taken White Magic away from Earth?" Infinity smiled, mocking the Eternal Emperor without mercy.
