Then what had he come for? Just a vacation in Asgard?
That was ridiculous. What kind of Creator God had so much time on his hands?
"Ahem." Seeing the strange looks they were giving him, Zhang Yang continued.
"You two are among Asgard's strongest fighters. If anything happened to either of you, it would be a tremendous loss to Asgard and Earth alike. I just want you to stop fighting."
Hela said indifferently, "Killing Odin isn't my goal. I only came for the throne. I can't be bothered with anything else."
"Impossible. Unless I'm dead, you'll never take the throne from me." Odin stuck to his position, unwilling to yield an inch even if it killed him.
Father and daughter were equally stubborn. One would stop at nothing to seize the throne; the other would sooner die than give it up.
So Zhang Yang had to play peacemaker after all, and neither of them seemed particularly impressed that he was a Creator God. With his power, he could destroy countless Asgards with a wave of his hand.
What they didn't know was that Zhang Yang couldn't act freely right now. Directly affecting Earth's workings or interfering with the natural order of things would entangle him in too much cause and effect, and that would cause trouble even for him.
For all he knew, the supreme god, One-Above-All, might be watching his every move. Better to be careful.
Hela had been imprisoned by Odin for centuries. From the look of her, she wouldn't back down easily, and persuading her would be difficult.
That left Odin. Zhang Yang would have to talk some sense into the stubborn old man.
First, he tried to calm Hela down.
"I understand you, Hela. You want to prove yourself. You want the Asgardians to recognize you."
