"Griseo, what exactly is the [Primus] worshipped by the Praise Society?"

Belle asked.

Ever since the Bringer incident, every event that followed seemed to revolve around the [Primus].

Yet whenever the intelligence they had gathered on the Praise Society mentioned the [Primus], it described the being only as an extremely dangerous mystery. Its nature, form, and purpose were almost entirely "unknown."

Even when she, Ye Shunguang, Liuyin, and Griseo had fought at the Mine Ancient Array not long ago, the [Primus] had appeared only briefly, manifesting its consciousness.

But there was no denying that the [Primus] was tremendously powerful.

"Hm? Belle, didn't the Praise Society's prayers already tell you who the [Primus] is?"

Griseo looked at Belle's curious face with a perfectly serious expression.

"Griseo, don't joke around..."

Belle shook her head. She didn't believe it.

The Praise Society's followers—Sarah in particular—were fanatics to the bone. You could hardly trust a word people like that said.

After all, according to their prayers, the [Primus] was a god of the Primordial Beginning who had existed before time, space, order, or anything else had come into being.

The [Primus] was the origin of all life, existence, and power.

If the [Primus] really was that powerful, what was the point of humanity fighting?

They might as well surrender now.

Griseo's voice was calm, without the slightest hint of a joke.

"His name was Nun."

"Nun?"

"Mm. A god of the Primordial Beginning, the origin of all life, existence, and power.

The starting point of everything is called the 'initial beginning,' while what came before that is called the 'Primordial Beginning'..."

"Stop! Griseo, don't say any more, or you're going to scare me!!!"
