After leaving Aida's house, Fugaku reflected on the two clansmen he had pushed into awakening their Two Tomoe Sharingan. Their strength would grow rapidly in the short term, and he had also used his Mangekyo Sharingan to place them under deep hypnosis.

He had imprinted a glowing image of himself in both their minds. With that first impression in place, he could gradually guide them into becoming his trusted confidants.

Fugaku checked the time. He still had to lead his three disciples on a mission in the morning and give them a general assessment.

He took no further action and went home to sleep.

The sun rose, and quiet Konoha gradually returned to its usual bustle. Many Ninja were already up and training.

The three disciples had gathered outside the mission office when a figure appeared in a flash of the Body Flicker Technique. It was Fugaku.

"Teacher," the three said in unison.

Fugaku nodded. "Let's go. I want to see how much you've improved lately."

"Don't worry, Teacher. We've been training hard in Ninjutsu and Taijutsu. We're much stronger now, and we'll definitely surprise you," Kazawa said.

A faint smile crossed Fugaku's face. "I hope you don't disappoint me."

The four entered the mission office, where quite a few people had already gathered. A figure in a green training suit caught Fugaku's eye: Might Duy.

They were hardly acquainted, and this was only the second time Fugaku had met him. Even so, Duy had left a deep impression on him, both in his previous life and this one.

Duy was already famous in Konoha as the Eternal Genin. Almost every villager had heard his name.
