Neither the Sand Shinobi nor the Stone shinobi saw where the kunai came from. In the packed crowd, many Sand Shinobi would simply assume someone harbored a deep hatred for the Stone shinobi.

Someone who wanted to toss a few Explosive Kunai amid the chaos to vent his anger. No one would think to expose him.
