"Once their offensive stalls, even if Sunagakure refuses to send the remaining supplies, the Stone shinobi on the front lines won't let the matter rest.

"Bad blood has already formed. When that happens, Ōnoki will have only two choices: accept Iwagakure's losses and withdraw to the Land of Earth to recover,

"or send more troops and try to break into the Land of Fire.

"If the offensive goes well and the allied forces enter the Land of Fire, the remaining fifteen percent will hardly matter to us. Whether we pay it will depend on how well Iwagakure cooperates in battle.

"If the offensive fails, the agreement won't be worth the paper it's written on."

The Sunagakure senior officials nodded.

An intelligence officer hurried in. "Lord Kazekage, something has happened to the Sand shinobi sent after the spy. They've clashed with the Stone shinobi who went after him as well.

"Both sides have suffered heavy casualties. The situation is serious."

The Third Kazekage clenched his fists and stood. His chakra surged out, leaving the Sand shinobi elites in the tent struggling to breathe.
