Diyuanyi swept his gaze over the four ANBU and stopped on the Ninja wearing a hawk-faced mask.
He matched the description in their intelligence. Diyuanyi was sure this was Uchiha Kōta.
"Attack. Kill anyone who resists."
The Raikage had ordered them to spare Uchiha Kōta if circumstances allowed and try to bring him back alive.
But whether Uchiha Kōta survived depended on his own strength. If he died under the Cloud shinobi's attacks, he had only himself to blame.
Eight figures vanished at once. Cold flashes of steel streaked toward the Konoha ANBU.
Diyuanyi kept his eyes on Guangtai. His Kunai darted toward the man's heart like a poisonous snake.
He intended to kill him with that strike.

Uchiha Kōta's pupils tightened. He retreated quickly and slammed his hands together.
"Wood Release: Thorn Entanglement!"
Dry wooden tendrils burst from the ground and wound toward Diyuanyi.
So this is Wood Release. It isn't as powerful as I imagined, Diyuanyi thought.
He formed hand signs, drawing Lightning Release Chakra into his hand. In an instant, his black Kunai crackled with explosive lightning.
The thorns rising from underground were powerless against the lightning-charged Kunai. He swiftly smashed them to pieces.
"You dare show off Wood Release this pathetic? Come back to Kumogakure with us, and you might live."
Guangtai glanced around. The battle was nearly over. The Cloud shinobi sent on this mission were handpicked elites led by two Elite Jonin.
"So you came for me. I dragged them into this. But if you think I'll surrender, forget it. An Uchiha dies fighting. An Uchiha never surrenders.
"If you want to take me back, you'll have to take my corpse."
