Guangtai could hardly believe what the old man had said. Looking at the frail figure before him, he struggled to connect him with the Madara Uchiha who had once dominated the Shinobi World.

The old man remained calm, showing no displeasure at Guangtai's doubt.

Madara's voice echoed through the cavern.

"Then what do you think I am? A Death God? A wandering ghost? Or something else? The Demonic Statue behind me has kept feeding me Chakra. That's the only reason I've clung to life this long."

The revelation of Madara's identity left Guangtai stunned into silence. The vast Underground Cavern fell quiet again, save for the White Zetsu talking among themselves.

Madara closed his eyes once more, his thoughts unknown. Guangtai struggled to absorb what he had just heard.

He also felt as though a dream had been shattered. He had always imagined Madara Uchiha as an overwhelming warrior who could dominate the Shinobi World.

Madara Uchiha's reputation within the clan was poor, but that had never stopped its younger members from admiring him. Now Guangtai was being told that Madara Uchiha was nothing more than an old man hiding in an Underground Cavern, barely clinging to life.

Anyone would have been shaken.

"Hey, what are you thinking about?" a White Zetsu asked as he came over.

"Nothing. I'm just bored, thinking about my life back in Konoha."

"You seemed to have a pretty good life in Konoha. Why not tell us about it? It's so boring down here," the White Zetsu said.
