Suikazan Fuguki and Jinin Akebino fell dead one after the other. Only five of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen remained.
The pressure on Jin and Hitoshi eased considerably.

He drove his Susanoo forward, swinging its two long blades down at Munashi Jinpachi and Hōzuki Chiren.
The enormous dark-blue blades inspired fear at a glance. Chiren released Hiramekarei's power and swung it hard at one of them.
At the same time, Jinpachi raised the Exploding Blade Shibuki to meet the other.
Boom! Boom!
Two violent collisions rang out. The shockwaves hurled Chiren and Jinpachi backward, sending them tumbling across the ground.
Hitoshi rushed forward and raised his blades to strike them again.
A ruthless glint flashed in Jinpachi's eyes. "Even if I die fighting today, I'll take you with me. You dared to underestimate us. Let's see how you like it when every explosive on this blade goes off!"
He drove Shibuki into the ground and formed hand seals. Wisps of smoke rose from the blade, as though it might unleash an earth-shattering explosion at any moment.
Hitoshi's Mangekyo Sharingan spun. He burst out of his Susanoo and charged Jinpachi like a heavy tank, kicking him square in the chest.
The ferocious force of the kick tore through Jinpachi's body. His ordinary frame flew backward, blood spraying from his mouth while he was still in the air.
Hitoshi did not let up. He stamped down, kicking a clod of earth skyward and leaving a crater beneath his foot. Afterimages trailed behind him.
He appeared where Jinpachi was about to land, drew his blade, and drove it through him, ending his life.
