The meeting room fell silent. No one responded. Without pressure from outside, the Kumogakure Senior Officials could not bring themselves to make a decision.
After all, it would inflict heavy losses on Kumogakure, and even on the entire Land of Lightning.
Just then, screams and cries of alarm erupted outside. An Elder hurried to the window and looked out. Nearly half of Kumogakure had fallen into shadow.
He looked up and saw a Black Light Barrier stretching across the sky. Following it into the distance with his eyes, he spotted a Diamond Crystal at its head.
A figure stood inside it. Only then did the Elder realize what he was looking at: the Uchiha clan's Susanoo.
"Emergency! Get outside and take a look! Fugaku Uchiha is above the village!"
The faces of the Kumogakure Senior Officials changed at once.
"He dares show himself here again? We should concentrate our forces and capture him right in the village. We could trade Fugaku Uchiha for Lord Raikage," someone said.
The Elder who had seen the entire Susanoo stared at the speaker as if he were a fool. "Go outside and look first. You're being far too naive. Even if we sacrificed all of Kumogakure, we might not be able to capture Fugaku Uchiha."
The village's Senior Officials filed out.
Fugaku had already landed in an open space within Kumogakure. Not far ahead, Killer B stood atop a building, watching the enormous Susanoo with a grave expression.
"Fugaku Uchiha, what have you come to Kumogakure for?"
"Heh. The Land of Fire intends to hold negotiations in the Land of the Moon to discuss compensation for Kumogakure's invasion.
"I hope you know what's good for you. Follow Sunagakure's example and you'll have a way to survive. Otherwise, I won't mind slaughtering my way through
