In Kaguya's Castle, snow was still falling thick and fast outside. A Space-Time Passage opened, and Urashiki stepped through.

The battle in the forests of the Land of Fire had cured him of his contempt for the Shinobi World. The two Uchiha had thrown so many tricks at him that he had struggled to keep up.

Retreating for now was his best option. Otherwise, he would have to swallow his own Ninja Tools and Rinnegan to advance.

But that would leave him no choice but to fight them to the death, and he was not the sort to stubbornly see a fight through to the bitter end.

Urashiki surveyed Kaguya's Castle. It lay in ruins, clearly the site of a battle.

Since his clan had sent him out, he had yet to see Little Peach or Little Gold. They should not even know Earth existed, so they were most likely searching Kaguya's Castle for clues.

He had come to Kaguya's Castle several times already and had never run into either of them.

He walked slowly through the abandoned castle and out through a great hole into the snow. Flakes fell thickly, yet the snow on the ground never grew deeper.

It remained a thin layer. As he crossed it, he looked closely and saw many signs of combat.

Urashiki activated his Byakugan and scanned the area. A flash of red caught his eye in a corner of the rubble ahead.

He went over and picked up the source of the red glint. It was a red fragment, made of the same material as his Fishing Rod.

But Urashiki could not tell whether it belonged to Zushiki, who had already been killed, or to Little Gold, who had come with Little Peach this time.
