Not long after Fugaku disappeared, a Space-Time Door opened. A tall figure stepped out with a shrunken Tailed Beast perched on his shoulder.
Eleven long tails trailed behind it. The man surveyed the area, and his expression immediately darkened.
Rays of light gathered in his hand. Flecks of light converged there as well, and several minutes later, five translucent souls reformed in his palm.
He pressed a finger against one of the phantom souls. Images flashed past, but they were fragmented.
He frowned. He could make out a battle against experts from the Sea Realm, but everything else was a blur. Even the battle itself was indistinct.
He knew exactly why: someone had used an extremely violent form of Soul Extraction on them, with no regard for the damage it caused.
"Sea Realm scum. Sooner or later, I'll slaughter every last one of you."
He turned, entered the Space-Time Passage, and vanished from the battlefield.
Fugaku emerged from his Origin Ball Space. Below him, Little Ten had returned to the form of a God Tree, with the bodies of more than ten experts lying among his roots for him to absorb.
There were also two Complete Body Ten-Tails. As Fugaku's strength had grown, his Origin Ball Space had continued to expand.
Its area still could not compare to a real planet's, but its height far exceeded one.
The God Tree had taken root in the ground and was steadily drawing energy from the corpses.
The experts of the Sea Realm were entirely different from the Otsutsuki. Their bodies held immense vitality, but lacked the trace of Pill energy found in Otsutsuki bodies that made the latter easier to absorb.
