Hua Yin awakened the Pale Bewitching Butterfly, joined the Special Affairs Bureau, and survived a series of escalating threats that pushed his power toward a breakthrough. After a battle with the Nether-Ring Viper Queen, he embraced his identity as White Butterfly and severed his family ties by holding Chen Xu accountable for assaulting an officer.

• Hua Yin awakened his Pale Bewitching Butterfly ability while fighting the Jade-Bladed Mantis, then accepted the Bureau’s protection and training as White Butterfly.
• Hua Yin joined Captain Wang’s squad on security inspections, where the team discovered a damaged Leyline Sensor Stake and tracked demonic beasts entering Youcheng.
• Hua Yin and Sun Haoran fought a swarm of Rotten-Toothed Rats underground, and Hua Yin unleashed his butterflies to kill the swarm.
• Nether-Ring Snakes invaded Youcheng No. 3 Middle School, and Hua Yin joined the rescue operation after the beasts had killed students and spread through the campus.
• Hua Yin lost control amid the snake attack and fought the Nether-Ring Viper Queen’s avatar, while the Queen used consciousness exchange to control a stronger body.
• After elite reinforcements wounded the Queen’s avatar, Hua Yin devoured the demon and its consciousness, shattered and re-formed his Pale Core, and awakened enormous butterfly wings.
• Hua Yin accepted Li Siyuan’s guidance to control his power but reaffirmed his resolve to evolve and follow his own path.
• Hua Yin arrested Chen Xu for assaulting an officer and refused Li Xiulin and Chen Xingfeng’s requests to treat the case as a family matter, leaving them to sever their remaining ties.

Hua Yin trained under Bai Ye while Qing Wuyan manipulated Lin Qingqiu and helped the Psychologist prepare a citywide outbreak. The Bureau and Dragon Nation’s strongest fighters stopped the Psychologist’s ascent, leaving him captured and Qing Wuyan’s fate unresolved.

• Hua Yin helped arrest Scarface King, survived his attack with Bai Ye’s intervention, and began intense combat training after asking Li Siyuan to make him stronger.
• Bai Ye helped Hua Yin confront his guilt over his father’s death, while Li Xiulin and Chen Xingfeng’s efforts to reach him remained unresolved.
• Qing Wuyan steered Lin Qingqiu toward a black-market Genetic Potion, but Bai Ye later removed a Heartworm that had been manipulating her and suspected Qing Wuyan was connected to the Psychologist.
• Bai Ye found Qing Wuyan’s parents hypnotized and received a message from the Doctor as coordinated behavioral anomalies spread across several cities.
• The Psychologist activated Heartworms across Youcheng and other cities, turning potion users into Uncontrolled Ones while he used the resulting fear to attempt an advance toward the Law Realm.
• Hua Yin, Sun Haoran, and Zhao Tiezhu fought Uncontrolled Ones and rescued civilians as Bai Ye confronted the Psychologist and Hua Yin chose to answer Captain Wang’s call instead of pursuing Chen Xu.
• Liu Zhenguo intercepted the Psychologist, while Demigod Realm fighters disrupted his emotional supply lines and attacked Tongming Association bases.
• The Psychologist abandoned his advancement and tried to escape through a spatial rift using Qing Wuyan’s shell, but a hidden Law Realm expert struck him back and Liu Zhenguo captured his weakened consciousness for questioning.
